The i3 EVO is a fantastic value and includes most of the advanced features of Roombas which cost more. It has a self-emptying bin, and uses mapping to understand the design of your home, and cleans neatly. It also has strong suction on hard floors and can clean multiple surfaces at once. However the i3 EVO isn't as good at cleaning carpeting and doesn't have the object-avoidance capabilities of the premium J7+ Combo or the s9+.

Similar to the i1+, the i3 EVO is pet-friendly and features dual multi-surface brushes which adjust and flex to stay in contact with hard floors and carpets without becoming stuck in knots. Its filtration system traps 99.9% of cat and dog allergens in dander. It connects to both Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it using your voice. And it's easy to set up a cleaning schedule and check its battery levels as well as its history of cleaning and receive app updates.

The i3 EVO is a great battery life and is quick to recharge. It can clean for approximately an hour and a half before it runs out of battery power. This is impressive for an iRobot of this size.
